Minimizing and restoring application windows

To minimize an application window, use one of the following methods:

• Choose Minimize from the window menu.

• Use the keyboard shortcut Alt-F9.

• Click on the minimize button (if present) in the corner of the window:

Any of the above methods, minimize the window to an icon. The appearance of the icon will be different for each application. The example below shows the icon for an Ink & Paint window:

To restore the window, double-click on the icon.
